Job summary

Lakeville Area Schools is seeking a Kid Zone Assistant-Float to engage with students before and after school, lead educational activities, and ensure safety and well-being. You will rotate through classrooms, cafeteria, gym, and field trips, supporting a positive, fun learning environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork with the Kid Zone Instructor, supervision of groups, and participation in a dynamic after-school program serving Lakeville students and families.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age and high school diploma.
• Training or experience working with children in group settings.
• Interpersonal skills for working with students and adults.
• Ability to provide tutorial assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with and supervises children in activities across settings.
• Works with children with a variety of needs.
• Supervises children during transitions, meals, and snack times.
• Assists the Kid Zone Instructor in daily curriculum.
• Maintains room environment by setting up and storing supplies.
