Job summary

Kingdom East Unified Union School District, Burke Town School - West Burke, Vermont, seeks an Intensive Instructional Assistant (IIA) for the afterschool program. Hours are 3:00pm–5:00pm, Monday through Thursday during the school year, with extra hours optional.

The IIA will help develop and implement instruction and behavior support plans, participate with KEAP staff and a special educator, and receive Handle With Care training.

Qualifications

• High School/Trade School degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and interpreting individual student needs through behavior and instructional support.
• Provide observable student data to meet program goals for early childhood, developmental delay, and/or other needs.
