Job summary

Kingdom East Unified Union School District is seeking an Intensive Instructional Assistant (IIA) for the Miller’s Run KEAP program in Sheffield, Vermont. Hours are 3:00-5:00pm, Monday through Thursday, during the school year, with extra hours possible.

The IIA helps develop and implement student needs by supporting behavior and instructional programs with KEAP staff and the special educator. Training in Handle With Care is provided.

Qualifications

• Candidates must complete the ParaPro assessment or have an associate degree.
• Background check, including fingerprinting, required upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement student needs by supporting behavior and instructional programs with KEAP staff and the special educator.
• Assist with data collection and progress monitoring to meet program goals for students with early childhood, developmental delay or other special needs.
