Kingdom East Unified Union School District Concord School - Concord, Vermont is hiring an Intensive Instructional Assistant (IIA) for the KEAP program. The role runs 3:00-5:00pm Monday through Thursday during the school year, with some Fridays 12:00-3:00pm and additional hours available.

The IIA helps create and implement student support plans and will be trained in Handle With Care. The candidate should be energetic, enjoy working with children, and meet ParaPro or higher education

Qualifications

• High School/Trade School degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• ParaPro assessment completed or Associates degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop and interpret individual needs of students by helping create and implement behavior/instructional support programs with KEAP staff.
• Be trained in Handle With Care and support students to access instruction in a developmentally appropriate manner.
