Job summary

Stepping Stones Children's Center, Inc. in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking an Employment Type School Age Assistant Teacher/Assistant Group Supervisor for Haine Elementary. Shift: M-F 2:00pm-6:00pm; pay starts at $16.00 per hour with a $500 signing bonus after 90 days and another $500 after 6 months.

The role supports teachers by creating a caring, safe environment and delivering developmentally appropriate activities for children from Kindergarten through 6th grade. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; CDA/SAC coursework encouraged.
• Minimum 2 years (2,500 hours) of experience with children.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing curricula and encourage participation.
• Engage children in activities inside and outside.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and order.
• Communicate effectively with children to ensure safety and guidance.
• Model self-help and hygiene habits.
• Follow Stepping Stones policies and DHS regulations.
• Support professional development planning.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
