Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a Group Leader for the PM shift (3pm-6pm) at Penn Hills Elementary School in Pittsburgh, PA. The role offers $20.00 per hour with a $200 signing bonus and part-time benefits including health coverage.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment, prioritizes safety, and is flexible and reliable. You will help run after-school curriculum activities and support students, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Associates degree requires 2 years experience with children
• Bachelor or Associate Degree in Human Services fields also qualify
• Experience in after-school programs is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts) while encouraging positive peer interactions
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Keep the space clean and organized
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff

Other degrees outside the education and human service degrees listed above will NEED 30 ADDITIONAL credits on your transcript in the subjects of elementary education, early child care education or special education.
