Job summary

AlphaBEST Education seeks an enthusiastic Group Leader to support elementary students in before/after-school programs in the Windsor/Severance area. You will help deliver diverse activities and ensure a safe, engaging environment for children ages 4 and up.

You’ll work in a structured, high-energy setting, following safety procedures, and collaborating with staff, families, and school personnel to foster inclusion and growth. This is an on-site role with shifting afternoon hours.

Qualifications

• 460 verifiable hours of experience with children (ages 4+).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Proof of experience as required by CO childcare licensing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, Arts) while encouraging positive peer interactions.
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

Schedule

Before/After School hours:

• AM shifts: 6:30 am til start of school(depending on location)
• PM shifts: 2:00 pm (depending on location) till 6:00 pm
