Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a Group Leader to guide students through daily curriculum activities and ensure a safe, engaging after-school environment.

The role focuses on leading groups, maintaining order, and building strong relationships with families and school staff in a high-energy setting.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have 12 semester units or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
• At least 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Keep the space clean and organized
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Hours: Mon to Fri (3 shifts available) and no weekends!
