Job summary

The Mentoring Alliance seeks a Daycare Teacher to lead elementary students in enrichment activities after school. This part-time role (17–20 hours/week) is ministry-focused, non-exempt, and aims to foster youth development and positive mentoring in the community.

As a Christian ministry, responsibilities include upholding faith-based values and serving kids in a supportive team environment. Monday–Friday afternoon hours apply.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age; High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
• Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Valid driver’s license or Valid ID
• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• Have dependable transportation
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
