Job summary

The Mentoring Alliance is seeking a Child Care Worker to lead elementary students in enrichment activities after school. This community-focused role emphasizes faith-guided mentorship and positive youth development in a Christ-centered setting.

The position is part-time (17–20 hours/week), non-exempt, with a Monday–Friday afternoon schedule. A background check and CPR/First Aid certification are required, along with legal work eligibility in the United States.

Qualifications

• Agree with and adhere to Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
• Must be at least 17 years old; HS diploma or GED preferred
• Passion and love for working with elementary children
• Experience with elementary ages preferred
• Mon-Fri 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. during school year
• CPR/First Aid certification is mandatory
• Background/Sex offender check required
• Valid driver's license or valid ID
• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• Have dependable transportation
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued

Responsibilities

• Lead enrichment activities for elementary students in after-school program
• Foster youth development and model Christian values
• Support program operations and safety during after-school hours
