Job summary

Mentoring Alliance After School seeks a Daycare Teacher to lead elementary students in enrichment activities and foster youth development after school. The role is part-time, non-exempt, averaging 17–20 hours per week with a 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

schedule during the school year, in a Christian ministry setting. Applicants must be at least 17, have a High School Diploma or GED, and love working with children.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old and prefer High School Diploma or GED
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• CPR/First Aid certification is mandatory
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
• Legally allowed to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Lead elementary students in enrichment activities and promote youth development
• Foster a positive, ministry-minded after-school environment
• Support program activities Monday–Friday 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
• Model appropriate behavior and be a role model for kids
