Job summary

IDEA Public Schools seeks an After School Enrichment Specialist to run after-school programming for priority students, focusing on academic support, enrichment, and college/career readiness. You will collaborate with campus leadership and the After School Coordinator to align programs with school priorities and work 2–2.5 hours after school.

The role offers pay at $14.00 per hour plus benefits such as dental/vision, disability and life insurance, parenting benefits, vacation time, referral

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college with up to 15 credit hours or certified in the subject you will teach.
• Experience with youth in classroom or school settings.
• Transcript must be attached to verify GPA and credit hours earned.

Responsibilities

• Implement a clear behavior management system aligned to campus initiatives.
• Foster a productive and enthusiastic learning environment for each student.
• Establish trusting relationships with students and families.
• Provide enrichment and recreation leadership for program students.
• Facilitate planned enrichment/recreational activities for groups of 12–18 students.
• Support students' cognitive development and academic skills.
