Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking After School Enrichment Specialists to support priority students with academic help, enrichment activities, and college/career readiness. The role works after school for 2–2.5 hours each day, with a starting hourly rate of $14.00 and benefits including dental and vision plans, disability, life insurance, and more.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in college (up to 15 hours) or hold relevant certification, have experience with youth, and can attach

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college or has professional certification in the subject you will teach.
• Experience working with youth in classroom or school settings.
• Must attach transcript to verify GPA and credit hours earned.

Responsibilities

• Implement a clear behavior management system aligned to campus initiatives.
• Contribute to developing a positive school-wide learning environment.
• Establish trusting relationships with students and families.
• Provide planned enrichment and recreational activities for groups of 12–18 students.
• Assist in developing students' cognitive skills and academic growth.
• Support program evaluation and coordination with Site Coordinator.
