Job summary

Grace Place for Children and Families in Naples, FL seeks an Elementary Teacher for the After-School Program. The role is part-time, 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., 12–14 hours per week, reporting to the Program Manager.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, coordinate enrichment activities, supervise volunteers, and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom while communicating with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 2+ years instructional experience.
• Or degree in education with valid Florida teaching certificate.
• For K-5th program, must obtain Foundation Florida DCF certificate within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement whole-group and center-based lessons to support math and reading.
• Plan enrichment activities such as art, technology, and fitness.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom environment compliant with regulations.
• Provide instructional leadership and mentorship to staff and volunteers.
• Collaborate with Director of Student Performance to align supports with the school day.
