Grace Place for Children and Families in Naples, FL is seeking an Elementary Support Teacher for the after-school program. This part-time role (M-Th, 2:30-6:00) supports the classroom teacher and program manager in delivering high-quality, developmentally appropriate after-school activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of youth development experience, bilingual preferences, and basic computer skills. Background screening and state certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in youth development or childcare.
• DCF certificate to be obtained within 1 year.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish or English/Creole).
• Experience with diverse cultures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Classroom supports: aid in setup/cleanup, manage supplies, assist in activities and behavior management.
• Ensure the safety of children with active supervision across settings (classroom, playground, bus, cafeteria).
• Curriculum support: assist with math and reading growth, group instruction, homework help, and centers.
• Volunteer management: welcome and coach volunteers, maintain visibility with students, staff, volunteers and parents.
• Communication: support parent events and communicate program expectations to parents.
