Job summary

Right At School offers before- and after-school extended day programs focused on safe, engaging activities that make learning fun for students. Educators deliver planned curriculum, supervise play, and collaborate with school staff to ensure consistent, high-quality programming across multiple schools within the district.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, teamwork, and at least one year of experience with children.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: prepare activities and curriculum for the day, leading structured daily fitness and curriculum.
• Leading by Example: maintain a safe, nurturing environment and model positive guidance and classroom management.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor environment, address hazards, follow safety protocols, document attendance/incidents.
• Communication: effectively communicate with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
