Right At School in Farmington, IL is seeking an Educator to lead after-school activities and create a safe, engaging environment for kids.

You'll work Monday–Friday, 2:45 pm–6:00 pm, earning $15.00–$17.00 per hour based on education and experience. This part-time, on-site role offers flexible hours, opportunities to gain experience in education, and staff benefits including free RAS tuition.

Qualifikationen

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Outstanding customer service and communication with children and adults.
• Reliable and punctual; able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. and stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout a shift.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to support additional program locations if needed.

Aufgaben

• Greet and check in students; take attendance and maintain records.
• Plan and lead daily activities and enrichment lessons for the age group.
• Facilitate homework time and assist with academic tasks.
• Supervise during free play and transitions; ensure a safe environment.
• Address minor conflicts with positive guidance techniques.
• Communicate with parents at pick-up/drop-off; report incidents promptly.
• Set up and clean up program space daily.
• Attend brief daily team meetings to coordinate with staff.
