Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC. is seeking part-time program coaches to lead after-school sessions for children aged 5-10 at various Bay Area schools. Classes are typically about one hour, with a possible extra 30 minutes for pre-care, and sessions run 1:00 PM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Pay is $50-$65 per session, with all equipment provided. Candidates must be local, available for in-person work, and able to pass a TB test and Live Scan. Training is provided, and reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or working with children is preferred but not required.
• Must be 19+ years old and local to the Bay Area.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check.
• Complete photo and short bio submission for the website.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5-10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage class size (8-16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Equipment provided by the company; coach must have reliable transportation.
• Take attendance and interact with parents and school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.
