Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC. is seeking part-time coaches to run after-school sports sessions at elementary schools in the Bay Area. Each one-hour class follows provided lesson plans, with programs offered at multiple schools.

Sessions occur Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, 2–5 hours per week, and pay is $50–$65 per session. Coaches must be 19+ and locally based, possess reliable transportation, be fully vaccinated, and ready to complete a TB test and Live Scan.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old upon application.
• Must live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required.
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting.
• Flexible, reliable, and punctual.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work.
• Must complete sending a photo and short biography for our website and introduce your experience in sports.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.
