Job summary

The Young Womens Christian Association of the City of New York is seeking an Education Specialist to oversee the implementation of curriculum development for after-school programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in curriculum design and a commitment to diversity and educational equity. This part-time role offers a pay rate of $35-$45 per hour, requiring flexible hours primarily from 2 PM to 6 PM.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing curriculum for school-age youth.
• Demonstrated experience with Understanding by Design and integrating SEL into lessons.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality educational programs and curricula.
• Provide training and ongoing support to educators to improve instructional practices.
• Collaborate with partners to enhance program offerings.
