Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring energetic After-School Coaches to teach Cheer and Dance to elementary students in Alexandria. This part-time, after-school role runs Mon-Fri, with 1.5-hour sessions between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

Curriculum and equipment are provided, and there is no weekend work. A great opportunity for students studying Education, Physical Education, Dance, or related fields. Join a program that supports hands-on youth development, leadership skills, and positive, active learning

Qualifications

• Experience in Cheer/Dance instruction or similar activity is helpful but not required.
• Able to work with elementary students (K–5).
• Reliable transportation to schools around Alexandria.

Responsibilities

• Teach Cheer and Dance activities to elementary students.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for groups of 15–25.
• Encourage confidence, teamwork, and physical activity.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership.
