Job summary

School of Science and Technology is seeking a part-time Before and After School Care Supervisor. This role works with the Dean of Academics to support students before and after school hours, focusing on instructional duties and direct services as needed.

Under supervision, duties include assisting with test administration, classroom management, and specialized support for students with needs. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 48 college hours preferred.
• Experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists teacher(s) with student academic goals by working with small groups or an individual child.
• Assists teacher(s) in enforcing classroom management and behavioral plans to maintain a learning-friendly environment.
• Assists with supervising students during breakfast, recess, lunch, dismissal, special events, and programs.
• Assists with preparation of ARD/IEP paperwork and data entry for special education reports.
• Assists with planning and implementing differentiated instruction for individual students and groups.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
