St. Anne's-Belfield School is seeking a part-time Grades 5-8 After School Care Assistant for the Saints After School program for the 2026-2027 school year. The work is generally 2:30 - 5:30 on weekdays, with some flexibility on start times.

There may be full-day opportunities during teacher workdays. The role involves supervising children, facilitating activities, and ensuring a safe, organized environment.

Formación

• High school degree required.
• One year of previous professional childcare experience preferred.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises and engages with children's play and projects.
• Assists in group activities and transitions.
• Prepares needed materials and supplies.
• Observes playground and other activities to ensure safety at all times.
• Prepares classroom and snack materials.
• Maintains a neat and organized classroom and play area.
• Assist in safe arrival and dismissal of students in the program.
• Reports to director any problem which may occur with the children.
• Circulates amongst group to build relationships with a variety of children.
• Supports during employee childcare on teacher workdays throughout the year and at start/end of academic year.
