Job summary

All Saints Academy seeks an after-school child care provider to supervise and engage kindergarten through grade 8 students after the regular school day. Availability Mondays through Fridays 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. is required, with additional hours possible on snow days and non-school days during the academic year.

The role supports a Catholic mission, works with the child care director and staff, and emphasizes positive discipline, Gospel values, and community partnership within the Diocese.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-age children.
• Experience in a child care setting is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating activities for students attending the after school program.
• Prepare materials for activities each day before programs start.
• Engage with students from 3:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., supervising and guiding activities.
• Collaborate with the child care director to ensure quality programming.
• Inventory rooms and request supplies.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the child care spaces.
• Practice positive, consistent discipline and contact parents when needed.
• Keep the director informed of needs and concerns.
• Act as a witness to Gospel values.
• Demonstrate professional work habits and reliable attendance.
• Support and adhere to school/Diocese policies.
