Job summary

Charter Schools USA in West Palm Beach is seeking a part-time Before & After Care Worker to help maintain a safe, orderly environment in the cafeteria, playground and designated areas.

You will supervise students, assist with homework, distribute snacks, and reflect CSUSA values while delivering friendly, professional service to families.

This role supports after-school programs and requires a high school diploma; prior daycare or camp experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher education credential.
• Previous experience as daycare assistant or summer camp counselor, preferred.
• Commitment to CSUSA values.
• Such alternatives to the above requirements as CSUSA may find appropriate and acceptable.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
• Resolve conflicts with children and parents; be firm but friendly.
• Follow sign-in and dismissal procedures for Before Care and After Care.
• Monitor students and supervise the playground.
• Pass out snacks and engage with students during program times.
• Tutor and assist students with homework.
• Reflect CSUSA policies to co-workers and upper management.
