ARC is seeking an Entry level School-Age Care Counselor to support after-school programming for children aged 5 to 12 at Northgate Community Center in Seattle. You will assist with daily curriculum activities and reinforce positive behavior under supervision.

The role is part-time and on-site in Seattle, with after-school hours and potential summer work. Must meet DCYF requirements and pass background checks; ARC covers related fees.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• DCYF-required background checks and WA Food Worker Card after hire (ARC pays fees).

Responsabilités

• Assist and lead daily curriculum activities for children aged 5–12.
• Model appropriate behavior and foster social and emotional growth.
• Help maintain staff-to-child ratio of 1:10 whenever possible to ensure safety.
• Collaborate with ARC School-Age Care Director and fellow staff for direction.
