Job summary

The YMCA is seeking School Age Care Program Staff for Turtle Lake Elementary in Minnesota. The role offers $16.50 per hour with part-time or full-time options, Monday to Friday, mornings or afternoons (6:30 AM–9:10 AM and 2:10 PM–6:00 PM). No evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and complete YMCA trainings within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to plan, lead, organize, and implement program activities.
• Good communication, organization, and human relations skills.
• Willingness to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with weekly lesson plans and implement activities.
• Organize and lead arts and crafts, games, enrichment activities for school-age children.
• Keep site clean and organized.
• Maintain program records (incident reports, rosters, logbooks).
• Assist in evaluations and meal licensing requirements as applicable.
