Job summary

Easter Seals is seeking an After School Care Provider to create a safe, engaging environment for school-aged children after school. You will supervise students, assist with homework, and lead developmentally appropriate activities to support social, emotional, and physical growth.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
CDA, TCC, or related coursework in child development preferred.
At least 1 year of experience working with children in a licensed setting preferred.
Background check and fingerprinting through DECAL/BFTS required.
CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

Provide active supervision of children in all areas, following BFTS standards.
Assist children with homework, reading, or enrichment activities as needed.
Serve snacks in accordance with CACFP and program policies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment compliant with BFTS safety regulations.
Communicate positively with parents and staff; attend required staff meetings and trainings.
