Job summary

Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary School is seeking caring, energetic Extended Day Care Assistants to supervise students in kindergarten through eighth grade before and after the school day. You will help create a safe, engaging, and faith-filled environment with activities, homework support, and check-in/out procedures.

Ideal candidates are parents, education majors, retirees, or anyone who enjoys working with children.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Interest in helping students learn through activities and homework support.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in kindergarten through eighth grade during Extended Day hours.
• Foster a safe, engaging environment through games, activities, quiet time, and homework assistance.
• Support and uphold the Catholic mission, values, and behavioral expectations of the school.
• Assist with student check-in and check-out procedures and maintain attendance records.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
• Follow school policies related to safety, supervision, behavior, and emergency response.
• Help maintain clean, organized Extended Day spaces.
