Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our After School Program at Wells Memorial School in Harrisville, NH for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is part-time, non-exempt, and follows the school calendar with a daily 2:00–5:30 pm shift, paying $16.00 per hour.

Ideal candidates love working with children, enjoy teamwork, and excel at communicating with families while remaining reliable and engaged in a mission-driven program.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and a high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience with kids preferred.
• Clear health screening (TB) and state requirements.
• Positive attitude, interpersonal skills, reliability.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate activities per Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, art, homework).
• Provide a safe, healthy, and engaging environment for children.
• Model positive behavior and support classroom rules.
• Assist with attendance, registration, and staffing tasks as needed.
