Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our After School Program at Wells Memorial School in Harrisville, NH for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is part-time, afternoons, 2:00–5:30 pm, with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour and school-calendar scheduling.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliable attendance, a positive attitude, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while engaging with children. Employer-paid childcare is included, plus other voluntary benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+ and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience with kids under 13 preferred.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, per state regulations.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, arts and homework support.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and serve as a positive role model for children.
• Observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school rules.
• Support program operations, including attendance, registration, and staffing where applicable.

• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
