Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our After School Program at Croydon Village School for the 2026–2027 school year. The position follows the school calendar and offers a part-time, non-exempt schedule from 2:15 to 5:30 pm.

Minimum qualifications include 18 years or older with a high school diploma, 1 year of experience with children, TB clearance, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. We seek friendly, reliable team players who communicate well with families.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13.
• Medically cleared of communicable diseases including TB.
• Warm, friendly, upbeat with exceptional people skills, reliable and prompt.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry up to 50 lbs., and keep up with the children.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
