Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our After School Program at Hancock Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. The position follows the school calendar with an afternoon shift from 3:25 to 6:00 pm.

We are seeking individuals who love working with children, bring energy and patience, and can be reliable team members. This part-time, non-exempt role offers an engaging environment and opportunities to contribute to student growth.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred.
• Required health clearance, TB screening, per state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
