Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for the Cornwall Consolidated School after-school program for the 2026–2027 school year. The role is part-time, non-exempt, with a wage of $16.94–$18.44 per hour and schedule following the school calendar.

You will work with children ages 5–12, lead engaging activities, and collaborate with a caring team. Requirements include being 18+, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Employer-paid childcare is a key perk.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and high school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience with kids under 13 preferred
• Health clearance including TB screening as per state regulations
• Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills, professionalism and reliability
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift and carry up to 50 pounds while engaging with children

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academics, art, and homework completion
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model
• Observe state guidelines and program policies
• Support program operations including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities
