Job summary

Shining Steps ABA is seeking caring, dependable Behavior Technicians (BTs) and RBTs to join our team for after-school hours and part-time opportunities. Typical sessions run after 2:00 PM with some weekend options, including training and a supportive work environment.

Roles involve providing 1:1 ABA therapy in various settings, implementing BCBA-developed plans, and helping children develop communication, social, and daily living skills while receiving supervision and RBT-certification support.

Qualifications

Experience working with children preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation
Ability to work independently while following clinical guidance
Positive, patient, and professional attitude
Ability to pass a background check and meet employment requirements
Availability during afternoon, evening, and/or weekend hours

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children and adolescents
Work in home, school, clinic, and community settings
Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA
Collect and record data during therapy sessions
Support children in developing communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills
