Qualifications

• Experience in marching band instruction or leadership.
• Strong musical and conducting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Marching Band Stipend, Band Director, and marching band members.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate evening and weekend rehearsals and performances.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Marching Band Stipend and Band Director in planning and executing all marching band rehearsals and performances
• Provide instruction and guidance to marching band members during rehearsals
• Help coordinate the logistics of marching band events, including competitions, parades, and other performances
• Support the creation and implementation of the marching band's curriculum and training program
• Assist with the maintenance and organization of marching band equipment and uniforms
• Serve as a positive role model and mentor for marching band members
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration regarding marching band activities
• Attend all marching band rehearsals, performances, and competitions
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Marching Band Stipend or Band Director
