• Write/edit/direct/select field shows and marching drills.
• Secure equipment and materials for rehearsals and performances.
• Maintain instruments and uniforms.
• Monitor the performance of band staff members.
• Manage the student leadership team.
• Engage with students, families, and the band booster organization.
• Participate in concerts, competitions, games, parades, and community events.
• Collaborate with other high school and middle school band directors in New Bedford.
• Handle field trip forms and medical forms for performances.
• Flexible schedule including holidays; complete health training requirements.
