Job summary

Dramatic Education, Inc. is seeking a part-time Lead Teaching Artist Assistant to support 21st Century Community Learning Center programs at Conway Elementary.

You will assist in delivering literacy, mathematics, and STREAM-based activities, and work with school staff to ensure a safe, engaging environment for K-8 students. The role emphasizes small-group instruction, enrichment activities, and collaboration with program staff and teachers to meet grant goals and student needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience with children in educational/childcare settings.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to pass Level 2 background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provides small group instruction, tutoring, and homework help to reinforce learning.
• Assists with classroom management to maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive environment.
• Supervises students during transitions, meals, and activities to ensure safety and appropriate behavior.
• Collaborates with staff to align enrichment activities with student needs and priorities.
• Supports attendance tracking, data collection, and reporting for program accountability.
