Wicked Workshop seeks experienced classroom leaders to teach afterschool architecture and art to K–5 students in Austin schools from 2:30 to 5:30, August 31–December 17, with a co‑teacher or solo option on select days.

You will deliver hands‑on, design thinking projects, manage a classroom, and maintain timely communication while following a flexible, mobile program. Compensation ranges from $60 to $90 per class, with $60 per class typical and $90 when solo with more than 10 students.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year of experience with classroom management and/or teaching elementary children.
• Personal vehicle is required to transport teaching materials.
• High school diploma is required; a degree in education or design is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead hands‑on, arts‑based afterschool classes for K–5 students.
• Deliver projects independently from start to finish with setup and cleanup.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom culture and timely communication.
• Attend 2:30‑5:30 schedule on days you teach; semester commitments.
