Job summary

Paramus Public Schools is seeking an After School Aide for East Brook Middle School to support students and maintain a safe, positive environment after the school day ends. The position runs 2:30 pm–4:30 pm, 10 months, averaging about 10 hours per week, with pay ranging based on prior school-based experience.

Qualifications include a High School diploma and the ability to perform the required duties. NJ residency or relocation and background checks are required for employment consideration.

Reports To: Principal

Employment

Terms: 10-month position Part-time - 2 hours per day; 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm, minimum of 10 hours per week

Not eligible for health insurance benefits; not associated with any collective bargaining association

Requirements:

2. 2. Controlled substance testing and successful completion of criminal history background check are required of all applicants offered employment.

Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Non-Certified Personnel.
