Job summary

Archdiocese of Chicago Catholic Schools in Waukegan seeks a Part Time Extended Day Supervisor for St Anastasia School. The role supports after-school activities, tutoring, and enrichment programs for students during the 2026-2027 school year.

You will work under Site Coordinator guidance, plan and implement activities, supervise students, and assist with recruitment and data collection while fostering a safe, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and mentoring students in after-school activities.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
• Ability to establish safe, positive learning environments for youth.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing academic, enrichment, health, and recreation activities for students.
• Tutor students in reading, writing, math, and related subjects.
• Supervise students after school and support behavior management and role modelling.
• Mentor students and participate in learning and life-skills activities.
• Promote safe, healthy environments conducive to learning.
• Assist recruitment and enrollment in afterschool programs.
• Encourage participation of students, staff, volunteers and parents.
• Collect and maintain participation, development and achievement data.
• Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities.
• Travel locally to fulfill after-school grant requirements.
• Perform related duties as assigned by Site Program Administrator or Site Coordinator.
