St. Pius V School in Chicago is seeking a caring and dependable Part-Time Extended Day Supervisor to support the after-school program for ages 3–13. Work 3:00–6:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or similar setting.
• High school diploma required; college coursework in education, child development, or related field is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Must successfully complete background checks and Safe Environment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in a safe, nurturing, and engaging after-school environment.
• Assist students with homework and provide academic support as needed.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and enrichment activities.
• Foster positive relationships while encouraging respect, responsibility, and inclusion.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.
• Communicate professionally with families and school staff.
• Assist with snack distribution, attendance, and daily program setup and cleanup.
• Follow all school policies and child safety procedures.
