Job summary

St. Casimir Catholic School in Baltimore, MD is seeking a responsible Part-Time Extended Care Teacher for 2026-2027 to supervise and engage students PreK3 through Grade 8 after school hours.

You will create a safe, nurturing environment and support students’ well-being until dismissal and pick-up. Responsibilities include organizing activities, supervising snack time, communicating with families at pick-up, and collaborating with staff to manage behavior.

Qualifications

• Supervise and engage students from PreK3 through Grade 8 in a safe, supportive, friendly manner.
• Organize and facilitate age-appropriate activities, arts and crafts, group games, homework help, and outdoor play.
• Assist with snack distribution and monitor students during snack time.
• Ensure students' emotional and physical needs are met.
• Communicate with families at pick-up with updates on their day.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage students in PreK3 through Grade 8 in a safe, supportive, and friendly manner.
• Organize and facilitate age-appropriate recreational activities, including arts and crafts, group games, homework assistance, and outdoor play.
• Assist with snack distribution and monitor students during snack time.
• Ensure that students' emotional and physical needs are met.
• Communicate with parents or guardians at pick-up time, providing updates on their child's day.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to manage student behavior and provide support as needed.
