Job summary

New York Junior Tennis League, Inc. seeks an Activity Specialist to plan and lead after-school, project-based activities in a DYCD-funded program. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM.

Up to 20 hours per week with the full school year through June 2027. Positions open across Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and Manhattan. Responsibilities include designing units, aligning with program goals, integrating SEL and youth leadership, and maintaining a safe, organized space for diverse

Qualifications

• Available for after-school hours, 2:00pm–6:00pm, Monday–Friday.
• 2+ years of experience with children or youth in group settings.
• Ability to design structured activities and manage a group independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement project-based units in the assigned specialty.
• Lead hands-on sessions and maintain an organized, safe activity space.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and coordinate with site leadership.
• Support youth engagement and adapt activities based on feedback.
