Job summary

New York Junior Tennis League, Inc. is seeking an Activity Specialist for after-school programming in Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and Manhattan. The role runs Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, up to 20 hours per week, through the full school year.

The ideal candidate will design engaging, project-based activities, supervise youth, and collaborate with site leadership to meet program goals. A high school diploma or GED is required and prior youth experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Available during after-school hours: 2:00pm–6:00pm, Monday–Friday, during the school year.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years’ experience working with children or youth in group settings.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead project-based activities in assigned specialty area aligned with program goals.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and events; prepare materials and equipment.
• Ensure youth safety, supervision, and documentation as required.
• Collaborate with site leadership and staff to coordinate schedules and support youth needs.
