Job summary

Pillars Community Health, LLC is seeking a Mobile Crisis Response Peer Specialist to assist individuals in crisis. The role focuses on de-escalation, crisis safety planning, and connecting clients to follow-up resources.

Personal recovery experience is leveraged to support others and shape care systems. The position requires flexible shifts including on-call responses within 60 minutes, travel within the service area, and maintaining confidentiality per privacy laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience as consumer of mental health or related services.
• Crisis intervention experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Mobile Crisis Response in person or virtually during crises.
• Triages calls and dispatches to appropriate staff.
• Use lived experience to build rapport with clients in crisis.
• Assist in developing crisis safety plans and post-crisis follow-up.
