Job summary

HIA Hospice in Grand Forks, ND seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide after-hours hospice care in patients’ homes. You will triage calls, perform nursing interventions, and support families during life-ending visits.

Shift runs 5 PM–8 AM, Sunday through Saturday, with a 7-on/7-off rotation. Eligible employees receive a robust benefits package including health/dental/vision, life insurance, 401(k), disability coverage, and generous time off.

Qualifications

• RN degree required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in North Dakota and Minnesota (dual licensure preferred).
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours hospice nursing care in patient residences.
• Triage and respond to patient phone calls during night shifts.
• Deliver skilled nursing interventions per patient plan of care.
• Support families during actively dying and death visits.

Our mission: 'To provide comfort and care through life's journey’Join our team today!Position SummaryResponsible for the care of hospice patients during non-business hours including, but not limited to: triaging patient phone calls, providing skilled nursing interventions and supportive care in the patient’s place of residents for evening and night after hours duty in accordance with the patient’s respective plan of care and based on need. Provide support and follow-through to the patient’s family during any actively dying and/or death visit for the hospice team.This position works from 5PM to 8AM Sunday to Saturday. 7 days on, then 7 days off and is benefit eligible.
