Job summary

Mission Healthcare in the western United States is seeking an After-Hours Director of Clinical Services (RN) to provide clinical leadership and oversee after-hours operations for hospice patients. You will support on-call staff, ensure quality patient care, and promote CMS-compliant practices during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This role requires a BSN, at least 5 years in hospice/home health, and 2 years of leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; current, unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum 5 years hospice, home health, palliative care, or related clinical experience.
• Minimum 2 years leadership or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of hospice regulations and standards; valid driver's license.
• BSN preferred; MSN desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours clinical leadership and support to on-call staff.
• Manage after-hours staffing and triage coverage.
• Overssee call management workflows and triage protocols.
• Ensure CMS compliance and patient-centered hospice care.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and the care team.
