Job summary

CRS Temporary Housing is seeking a Customer Claims Specialist (After-Hours) in Phoenix to provide exceptional service outside standard business hours. This in-office role offers 1 weekend day + 4 weekday shifts, with an initial training period at $20.00/hr, then $21.00/hr plus a shift differential and monthly bonuses.

Training runs ~60 days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Requires reliable internet, a dedicated workspace, and strong communication and problem-solving skills to guide

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Demonstrated accuracy, attention to detail, and organization.
• Ability to multitask with a sense of urgency and deadlines.
• Intermediate math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for policyholders and adjusters, provide information and education on the hotel and housing process.
• Source and reserve hotels that meet the needs of the policyholder and ensure claim expenses are within policy limits.
• Obtain adjuster approvals and accurately process extensions if needed.
• Assist with resolving any customer service issues related to the hotel or housing stay.
• Communicate with hotel or landlord to ensure the policyholder’s needs are met, including special requests.
• Occasionally act on behalf of the collections department to obtain abatement for a claim.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by prompt and proper resolution of questions via email and telephone.
• Manage high volume email, inbound and outbound calls for claim handling, documenting activities in Salesforce.
• Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.
