Job summary

CrossWinds Counseling & Wellness in Kansas is seeking a Master’s level clinician to provide emergency treatment services during psychiatric crises in office and community settings. The role includes intake assessments, court-related evaluations, and coordinating referrals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

You will collaborate with Mobile Crisis Response and Crisis Services teams, maintain detailed records, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, or psychology is required.
• Licensure as a master level clinician with the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Review Board (BSRB) is required.
• Computer experience in Microsoft Office programs and basic computer fluency.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with persons with severe mental illness and/or substance issues.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct emergency treatment services to clients in crisis, in office and community settings.
• Conducts clinical intake assessments as needed.
• Provides services related to court evaluations and testimony for clients.
• Assists clients to identify and secure community resources.
• Coordinates referrals and delivery of services among agencies, hospitals, and organization.
• Coordinates care and follow-up with Mobile Crisis Response and Crisis Services team members.
• Collaborates with community service providers to build partnerships.
• Maintains accurate records and submits progress notes, treatment plans, and required paperwork.
• Attends professional workshops to maintain licensure and improve skills.
• May serve as PRTF Liaison.
• Completes competency evaluations as assigned.
